Energy problem or power shortage has been a major problem since the last decade. At the time when Nawaz Sharif government was formed there was a shortage of 7000MW. But, the government realized the importance of this issue and launched power generation projects 0f 20,000MW. The Nawaz Sharif government is successful in addressing this issue and there is betterment of 30% in this regard in the 2.5 years, and the average load shedding comes down from 14 hours to 8 hours.
