Difference between PROM and EPROM:
- PROM is a programmable memory while EPROM is electronically programmable memory.
- We can write instructions on PROM only once while on EPROM we can write instructions many times.
- The instructions cannot be erased from PROM while can be erased by EPROM with the help of electrical pulses.
