The 58th United States presidential elections were held on November 8, 2016. Republican nominee Donald Trump won 304 out of the total 538 electoral votes after winning 30 out of the total 50 states of the United States. Donald John Trump and Mike Pence became 45th President and 48th Vice President of the United States respectively by assuming offices on January 20, 2017.

Donald Trump defeated Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton who was United States Secretary of State from January 21, 2009 to February 1, 2013. Hillary Clinton could win a total of 227 electoral votes after winning 20 out of the total 50 states of the United States.
