Abraham Lincoln
Born on 12 February 1809 and Died on 15 April 1865.
Abraham Lincoln served as president of the United States from 4 March 1861 to 15 April 1865. He was president of the United States during Civil War that lasted from 1861 to 1865. He was re-elected in the US presidential election of 1864. He abolished slavery in the United States. He was assassinated on 14 April 1865 by John Wilkes Booth, an actor, and died on 15 April 1865.

Theodore Roosevelt
‘Reform is an antidote to revolution’; with these words as his policy, Theodore Roosevelt served as the 26th United States President from 1901-1909. He led people of the United States through the ‘Progressive Era’ which meant for bringing political reforms and elimination of corruption. Being an astute Republican, Roosevelt worked to reduce the gap between the ‘Haves’ and ‘Have-nots’. Along with being a good writer of several books he also participated in ‘Spanish-American War’ of 1898 in Cuba and became a War Hero. Construction of Panama Canal also began in his tenure. He also won the Noble Peace Prize of 1906 in honor of his work to end the Russo-Japanese war. Considered to be a man of valor, Roosevelt was given a tribute at his death in 1919 by Democratic Vice President Thomas Marshall in these words; “Death had to take him while sleeping. If he had been awake, there would have been fighting”.

Vladimir Lenin
Lenin was the leader of Bolshevik Revolution of October 1917 in Russia. Oppressed by the tyranny, various revolutionary factions of Russia overthrew the Tsar Monarchy. A provisional government was established. In those days Lenin living in exile in Switzerland. Amid the World War-1, he made his way back to Russia with the help of the German state with the promise to withdraw Russia from the war. Lenin successfully overthrew the Provisional Government and installed Bolshevik Government, crushing all other factions of the Russian Revolution in the Civil War (1917-1922). Lenin theorized the modern postulates of communism and founded the Communist Party.
