Pakistan’s Foreign Policy

Pakistan is one of the eight declared nuclear power states in the world, and the only Islamic nation to have this status. As Pakistan has fought three full scale wars against India, Pakistan does not compromise and accept any pressure on its military strength. Pakistan is a member of UNO, SAARC, D-8 and OIC. Pakistan is ranked as a major non-NATO ally in the war against terrorism by the United States. Pakistan has very good working relations particularly with United States, China Saudi Arabia and Turkey.
