Himalayas
The Himalayas is the highest mountain range on the Earth. It contains more than one hundred mountains exceeding 7,200 metres in elevation, including the highest Mount Everest. Its total length is 2,400 km, and it extends to five Asian countries: Bhutan, China, India, Nepal and Pakistan.
Himalayas also gives rise to world’s three major rivers: the Indus, the Ganges, and the Tsangpo-Brahmaputra. Following is the list of highest Mountains in the Himalayas range.
